Methodology

This page describes what Summa Vision's public pages actually show about how a publication was produced — not a general claim about process beyond what appears on the page itself.

Categorization

Publications are organized under a fixed set of six categories: Housing, Public Finance, Labour, Infrastructure, Economy, and Society. A publication that has not been assigned one of these categories is still published — it is available at its own direct link rather than under a category page.

What each publication page shows

Each publication page renders the graphic itself alongside its written text content (headline and explanatory sections). Where the information is available, it also displays:

  • The source the publication was built from
  • A dataset or table identifier
  • A short methodology note written by whoever built the publication
  • The date the publication was last updated
  • The date the publication itself was published

Any of these that aren't available for a given publication are simply omitted from its page — nothing is filled in or guessed on its behalf.
